During the early hours of the morning on my birthday, I felt the Lord wake me up and lead me to walk through downtown Nashville alone. It was so peaceful, and His presence was so near that it made me fall in love with this city even more than I already had.

Later that day, my mentor had me open a card with a scripture that is still lingering with me:

โ€œI am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.โ€
Leviticus 26:13

At 26, I want to be committed to leaving behind every Egyptian mindset, circumstance, or even relationship that would keep me bound, and instead step fully into the freedom, authority, and confidence God has given me. I want to embrace the fullness of my convictions and walk with my head held high in creativity, in my profession, and most importantly, in my walk with Jesus.

I hope this encourages you to release old mindsets that keep you in defeat and remember that even now, Jesus is extending His hand to lift your head to Him, the only one who saves.

I am deeply grateful for this community, so many beautiful people who have each given me keys to walk in the fullness of who I am, in joy, in depth, in love, and in truth. Here's to 26 and all that God has in store.
