Kirk said guns should not be regulated because ownership of assault weapons was more important than the right to life. Losing his life to an assault weapon is poetic justice. Such a horrible human being does not deserve our pity.
He never thought he could be a victim like all the thousands of American children, women and men that have lost their lives because people like him are bent on doing nothing to solve America's gun pandemic. Those who are fighting for gun legislation deserve our support and pity if something happens to them through guns, but those against such legislation are wicked people who don't deserve our pity if they get hurt by an assault weapon. I don't support this murder and violence or any of the other gun murders and violences, but those who don't want solutions to obvious problems should understand that they too can become victims of that problem they don't want to solve.
Let this be a wake up call to the Republicans and Conservatives that value gun ownership more than the lives of innocent American children, women and men.
