During the early hours of the morning on my birthday, I felt the Lord wake me up and lead me to walk through downtown Nashville alone. It was so peaceful, and His presence was so near that it made me fall in love with this city even more than I already had.

Later that day, my mentor had me open a card with a scripture that is still lingering with me:

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.”
Leviticus 26:13

At 26, I want to be committed to leaving behind every Egyptian mindset, circumstance, or even relationship that would keep me bound, and instead step fully into the freedom, authority, and confidence God has given me. I want to embrace the fullness of my convictions and walk with my head held high in creativity, in my profession, and most importantly, in my walk with Jesus.

I hope this encourages you to release old mindsets that keep you in defeat and remember that even now, Jesus is extending His hand to lift your head to Him, the only one who saves.

I am deeply grateful for this community, so many beautiful people who have each given me keys to walk in the fullness of who I am, in joy, in depth, in love, and in truth. Here's to 26 and all that God has in store.

This past week I have no words to explain the goodness the lord has shown in this country. He has opened my heart to just simply to be in the moment and remember that a moment can change your life forever. I have got to reunite with some incredible humans that without them I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. Getting to spend some time with my birth mom and biological brother was one of those never forget moments. Getting to travel with my Dad was a big highlight of my trip. He is the one that brought me home to America and we got to back since then and revisit. Spending time with the children @therainingseason was oh so special to me. They have taught me so much to never lose faith in who are God is. Also photographing different faces of light and here some of there stories will be a passion of mine for a long time. I know that there is still so much more I have yet to see, but where ever I go I want God to lead me and use me like never before and I know that’s what he did on this trip. /Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!
